Television Icon Florence Henderson to lend Star Power to Annual Palm Springs Holiday Benefit

PALM SPRINGS, CA – Sparkle: An All-Star Holiday Concert benefiting Desert AIDS Project is back in Palm Springs at the Annenberg Theater for its 4th year as THE holiday music event of the season!  It features a cavalcade of talent from the worlds of Broadway, television, film, and recording industry who usher in the spirit of the season performing your favorite Holiday songs at this one night only extravaganza on Wednesday, December 11th at 7:30pm!  This year’s show features a Special Appearance from Iconic Broadway and Television performer Florence Henderson.  “I am so pleased to be a part of this fantastic night for such a worthwhile cause,” she said.

Ms. Henderson, a multi-talented actress, recording artist, Broadway veteran, author and motivational speaker has found success in virtually every field she has entered, including the world of talk shows with The Florence Henderson Show.  But she will always be best known as “America’s Favorite TV Mom” for her role as blended-family matriarch Carol Brady on “The Brady Bunch.”  The classic series aired from 1969-1974, and has been on the air continuously in the U.S. since, and currently airs in 122 countries around the globe.

Joining her is an impressive list of stars scheduled to perform including: Max von Essen (Evita, Les Miserables), Emerson Collins (Sordid Lives The Series, Bravo’s The People’s Couch), Ginifer King (Nickelodeon’s The Haunted Hathaways, Gypsy), Shoshana Bean (Hairspray, Wicked), Matt Zarley (The Who’s TOMMY, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Julie Garnyé (Lorna Luft’s Pink Party Concert, Les Miserables at the Hollywood Bowl), Erin Quill (Avenue Q), Blake McIver (Star Search, Bravo’s The People’s Couch), Lexi Lawson (RENT, In the Heights), Constantine Rousouli (Ghost, Wicked), Haviland Stillwell (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof) and Kelly King (Billboard Top 20 Recording Artist, Winner: 2013 Best International Singer – Viña del Mar International Song Festival –Chile.)
