One of the entertainment highlights of the Holiday Season returned to Palm Springs on Wednesday, December 7th, at 7 PM as Producers Scott Nevins and Mark Jones presented SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert to benefit Desert AIDS Project (www.desertaidsproject.org) at the Annenberg Theater inside the Palm Springs Art Museum. An all-star cast of performers from the worlds of Television, Broadway and the music industry gathered together to help get you into the spirit of the season as they perform your favorite Holiday songs at this one night only extravaganza!

For the second year in a row, SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert delivered an exciting evening of Holiday music featuring a cavalcade of talent from some of today’s hottest Broadway and Television shows (including some favorites from last year’s performance) plus some legendary showbiz personalities to deliver extra Holiday cheer! Performing in this year’s All-Star line up were the legendary JoAnne Worley (“Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In”, “The Drowsy Chaperone”, “Beauty and the Beast”), two-time Emmy nominated Soap Star Bobbie Eakes (“All My Children”, “The Bold and the Beautiful”), TV & Broadway Stars Wilson Cruz (“Grey’s Anatomy”, “My So Called Life”, “RENT”) and Milena Govich (“Law & Order”, “Cabaret”),  Ginifer King (“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”, “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior”, “Gypsy”), Max von Essen (“Les Miserables”, “Dance of the Vampires”, “Xanadu” National Tour), Erin Quill (“Avenue Q”), Von Smith (“American Idol”, “The View”), Jen Malenke  (“High School Musical: Get in the Picture”, “Into The Woods”), Julie Garnye (“Hair: In Concert”, “Tinkerbell the movie”). Jessica Keenan Wynn (“Hairspray” at the Hollywood Bowl), Dionne Gipson (“Black Dynamite”), Robyn Clark (“Gypsy”) plus a few surprises along the way, adding up to deliver what will from here onward be known as THE Holiday Concert event of the season in the Coachella Valley!

The evening was hosted by Award-winning TV Personality, Comedian and INSTINCT Magazine Cover Guy from truTV’s hit show “The Smoking Gun Presents” Scott Nevins (www.ScottNevins.com) and musically directed by Jesse Vargas, who led an incredible four-piece live band.

Mr. Nevins is also the show’s co-producer, along with Mark Jones, a Palm Springs marketing, public relations and events company owner ( www.BrighthausMarketing.com .)  “We are thrilled we were able to bring ‘Sparkle’ back to Palm Springs and we couldn’t think of a better way to usher in the holiday season than by raising money for an organization that does as much good work in the Coachella Valley as Desert AIDS Project does all year round.”
