MAJOR SPONSORS ANNOUNCED FOR 2012 HOLIDAY BENEFIT CONCERT
Co-producers Scott Nevins and Mark Jones announced today that Integrated Wealth Management has signed on as presenting sponsor and LULU California Bistro will sponsor the VIP After-Party of the holiday event “Sparkle: An All-Star Holiday Concert” scheduled for early December 2012. Proceeds raised by the concert benefits Desert AIDS Project to support their services such as free HIV-Testing and treatment.
Jim Casey, CEO of Integrated Wealth Management, says he is excited to help keep this event in Palm Springs as an annual fundraiser for Desert AIDS Project. “My goal as a board member of Desert AIDS Project is to raise visibility and ultimately support the mission of Desert AIDS Project,” says Casey, “Sparkle reminds us that there can be joy in the face of adversity.”
Jerry and Barbara Keller, owners of LULU California Bistro, knew after seeing the concert last year that they wanted to get involved. “This is a feel-good concert event with incredible vocal talent who inspire us with their music, and we’re thrilled to be sponsors,” says Jerry Keller. The After Party event at LULU is where VIP ticket-holders can mix and mingle with celebrities and performers from the show. “We have to remember to honor the moments in life as we move forward on the journey to end AIDS,” says Barbara Keller who is also a board member of Desert AIDS Project.
Co-producer Scott Nevins (TruTV’s The Smoking Gun Presents…) announced the sponsorships from the stage of “Celebrity Doodles” on Saturday night. “Sparkle is a labor of love from all angles. I love holiday music, I love talent, I love Palm Springs and I love D.A.P.! It seems so right to have this one magical night each Holiday season where we celebrate all of that love with a concert filled with sensational performers who inspire with their talent, just as Desert AIDS Project inspires with the work they do for their clients every day of the year,” says Nevins.
Nevins’ co-producer, Brighthaus Marketing co-owner Mark Jones said both producers are thrilled with the show’s popularity. “The sponsorship from Integrated Wealth Management and LULU will really help us bring the show to the next level. We have big things planned for this year’s event,” says Jones. Brighthaus Marketing creates events and supports several organizations throughout Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley.
