ANNENBERG WILL “SPARKLE” AGAIN IN DECEMBER FOR DESERT AIDS PROJECT

Co-producers Scott Nevins and Mark Jones announced today “Sparkle: An All-Star Holiday Concert” (SparklePalmSprings.com) will be returning to the Annenberg Theater inside the Palm Springs Art Museum. The one-night only benefit performance for Desert AIDS Project will be on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at 7pm. Tickets are expected to go on sale in October.

“It’s our third year and Sparkle at the Annenberg is a great way to kick off the holiday season,” says co-producer and Host / TV Personality Scott Nevins (TruTV’s The Smoking Gun Presents…) Nevins and co-producer Mark Jones (Brighthaus Marketing) are excited to bring the annual fundraiser for Desert AIDS Project back to the Annenberg theater.

“Through the support of Integrated Wealth Management as the presenting sponsor this year, we’re able to expand the show in some new and interesting ways,” says show co-producer Mark Jones. One addition to the 2012 show will be an off-site VIP After-Party at LULU California Bistro for VIP ticket holders.

The event is presented by Brighthaus Marketing in conjunction with Scott Nevins and features a cavalcade of stars from the worlds of TV, Film, Broadway and the Recording Industry performing holiday classics. Past shows have included the incredible talents of Lorna Luft (White Christmas), Carol Channing (Hello Dolly!), Jo Anne Worley (Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In), Daytime Emmy Nominee Bobbie Eakes (All My Children), Wilson Cruz (Rent) and Tony Award Nominee Bobby Steggert (Ragtime).  The event also includes a silent auction outside of the Theater prior to the show..
